About Us
Don Swanger and Andy DeKraker are the co-founders of Hometown Family Insurance Group™, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. With backgrounds in management, business, ministry, teaching, organization building and networking, insurance, real estate, and residential and commercial construction, they bring a combined total of over 60 years of valuable experience to the venture. Owing to a series of key strategic business relationships, Hometown Family is able to offer a full range options from most of the top insurers in the country. This enables them to craft the best and most appropriate and cost effective protection packages possible, tailor made for their individual clients. In addition, they understand that the needs of an individual or family change as they move from one season of life to another.
